About Me:

I am a writer and editor, currently working as the editor of the International Journalists' Network (IJNet at www.ijnet.org), a resource for thousands of journalists worldwide, notably in countries with little or no history of press freedom. IJNet, a program of the D.C.-based nonprofit the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), seeks to connect journalists with opportunities to better themselves professionally in media environments that are often repressive.

My Passions:
media, empowerment, democracy, women's rights, community, health and spirituality
My Challenges:
repression, hatred, ignorance
My Vision for the Future:
a world in which those left out of the conversation can express themselves wholly and freely
My Languages:
English, Spanish
