About Me:

I'm 54 and my life has been full of adventure. I've been, at various stages, a student, teacher, employee of McDonald's, development worker, counsellor, secretary in industry, receptionist at a cathedral office, sandwich-seller, tutor, writer and homemaker. Writing is now my passion: magazine and newspaper articles regularly published, and in 2011 I was a finalist for the Asham Literary Award for short story writing and was published in a Little Brown/Virago anthology called 'Something Was There' - a collection of ghost/gothic stories by previously unpublished women. Four amazing children in their 20's. An advocate on behalf of bipolar people. Leader of The Red Tent, which meets monthly to do things that empower and strengthen (and make one another smile). A creative and productive 'crone'!!!

My Passions:
Empowerment, nature, literature, enlightenment
My Challenges:
To have a whole novel published
My Vision for the Future:
Women putting aside their differences - we have so much in common!!!
My Areas of Expertise:
Writing, training, encouragement, project leadership
My Languages:
English, French
