About Me:

I am very passionate about girl education in Africa as well as economic empowerment amongst African women. I love Africa, our culture, and a lot of our traditions but believe that sometimes they stifle growth. I am convinced that , we as African women have always been resourceful and that given equality of opportunity we can achieve so much more. I also know that the empowerment of women will benefit African states and so feel it is of paramount importance that this is achieved in order to end poverty!

My Passions:
Girls and womens education and economic empowerment
My Challenges:
Reconciling my African traditions with feminist ideals
My Vision for the Future:
To eventually start an organisation that provides girls with scholarships and books as well as a place where women can learn skills
