About Me:

Hi! My name is Erika.

I am a student at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. I am majoring in Women's Studies and Political Science, and also minoring in Law & Legal Studies.

I was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan and moved to Portland when I was 5.

I have a wonderful partner whom I live with. Not married...yet. One cat...a fluffy black cat named C.C. No kids...yet.

My Passions:
Getting to know people, traveling, empowering women, education, photography
My Challenges:
Feeling overwhelmed, lack of sleep, a sensitive stomach (really, my tummy is sensitive), patience
My Vision for the Future:
I would like it if people tried to listen to each other more; have some more compassion...for everyone to practice love, including myself.
My Areas of Expertise:
...can we ever really be experts?? I'm not even an expert on myself!
My Languages:
English, Japanese
