I believe in conversations. They make a difference! Affirmatively disruptive conversations that give birth to new perspectives and constantly challenge previously held notions. I have learned that conversations give me a new lease of life each day, opportunities to know myself and discover- Discover what? What the world is calling for and where I will be in it. And that is me- constantly dialoguing within and without myself. Seeking new partnerships and new knowledges. I look forward to this different beginnig. A journey of discovery I hope awaits me. To meet and to share with other great women is most humbling. But what do I do currently? I am a Broadcast Journalist with a development background. Used to work with grassroot women women and youth organisations in poor and low income neighbourhoods. Supporting them each day to find their voice and find the duty bearers as well. So they can ask...WHY!!! and most importantly get answers and solutions to their sanition, water, education, health etc challenges.
