Vivian Ifeoma Emesowum
Vivian has been in the development sector (NGO) for the past 10 years with experience working with grassroot people through projects and programmes implemented at the local, national and international level.
In the past four years, Vivian have been working with State Accountability and Voice Initiative (SAVI), a DFID funded programme in Lagos State under the Partnership for Good Governance. The partnership has been working at the local government of Lagos to ensure an effective system delivery between the citizen and the government closer to the people (LGA).
Vivian has a Health background with years of experience in HIV/AIDS, Reproductive/Sexual Health and Life Building Skills. She started her development work with training received from UNICEF/NYSC during her Youth Service Corps as a Peer Educator and Master Trainer. She promotes Peer Education for young people with a special focus on women and girl’s health Education.
She also have volunteering experience as a Youth Volunteer with an Kids and Teen Concerns and has conducted several Peer Education Training in secondary schools. She has worked with various local organization and women groups.
She has vast experience in working with, and programming for young people – She has also been involved in several community development projects and initiatives.
Author of the book, Healthy approach towards HIV/AIDS, Prevention, Care and Support, She has strong writing and documentation skills and have been involved as a consultant to some national projects. Her key skills also include reporting writing and rapporteur, monitoring and evaluation of project, research and documentation
