Yesterday - February 18th, 2010 I finally finished reading the book " Half the Sky " http://www.halftheskymovement.org/ ... which I had wanted to read since the time the book and some of the people whose stories were featured on the Oprah Show, www.orpah.com, back in October 2009. The book is amazing... really well written and gives you an insight of how women and girls of your age are living in the different parts of the world in the developing countries and how every day is a struggle for them to survive another day ...I am a blogger and have been blogging close to 1 year now ... www.ramyahegde.com and I am really passionate about writing and spreading awarness about a particular topic ...so today I wrote a blog post on the book I just finished reading and asked all my friends and family to spread the message forward ...
