When I was fifteen years old, I wrote an essay entitled “World Peace: What It Means To Me,” and won a contest that awarded a trip to anywhere in the world. I traveled to Austria where I attended the “Sound of Music Camp,” which had nothing to do with the famous film but everything to do with 30 young people from sixteen different countries coming together to sing, sightsee, and start lifelong friendships. This was one of the defining moments of my life, and the beginning of my path to World Pulse. I have always loved telling stories, and I am passionate about helping you – the World Pulse community – share your stories with the rest of the world.
My educational background is in International Studies and English Literature, and my professional expertise includes marketing, communications, and branding; event planning; and membership and community building. I also have been and forever will be in love with the arts: it is another mode of storytelling, and I believe that the sharing and appreciation of art is a doorway to cultural communication and understanding. Living life is an art form in and of itself: each of you are your very own original work of art, and that is a beautiful thing!
