I am a writer, director, community leader, yoga teacher, and arts empowerment facilitator in Portland, OR. I believe all humans share a creative birthright. Through whatever path we walk, we are co-creating the culture of life in our time. I write plays that expose functional and disfunctional cultural narratives, as they sow seeds for empowered consensual stories. We create meaning together through the ways that we gather to share voice, movement, food, celebration, mourning, challenges, solutions, intentions, and ideas. I am the founder of Muse Dance, Muse Mansion, and The Muse Revival. These are organizations that produce theater, dance, rite of passage, and music events that empower community expression, showcase local and international talent, and host extraordinary teachers and facilitators.
I'm thrilled to discover the World Pulse Community, as I see it as one of many important organizations rising to empower women as key culture keepers in support of a thriving human family. I believe we are collectively ready to match our technological advances with paralleled social and cultural advances. Wherever voices gather to magnify each others' visions and intentions, great things are bound to happen. In my work with women, I support them in reconnecting to natural self love for their bodies, emotions, and talents, while empowering them to create a role for themselves in society through which they gain fulfillment, meaning, and stability. I am developing an organization and mutual-mentoring system that supports women in supporting each other as they develop and actualize Vision Projects that create positive change in their lives and beyond. I see women thriving with social and spiritual connection, and I am grateful for enhanced opportunities to connect through global communication.
I am aware that I am intensely privileged to have been born on the west coast of the USA in this current time. As I rise in vision and leadership, I feel constantly called to contribute to the vision of a world in which all peoples have food, water, medicine, and freedom . Beyond that, I know it is possible for us to co-create a culture in which all are honored in their creative birthright express themselves, follow their passions, and give in the ways they most love to give. As a storyteller, I come to life in the light of others who also share their stories, and I look forward to keeping my finger on the "World Pulse!"
