I work as a community developer and social worker utilizing my skills and knowledge in engaging communities in the development in sustainable initiatives and in the implementation our organizational objectives. I am a flexible individual, I particularly enjoy challenges and the exposure to new and unfamiliar environments always striving to adapt quickly and to do my best at all times.
I work towards bridging the gap between national level policy lobbyists and community groups at the grassroots through creating awareness to the community on gender equality, women and children’s rights and poverty eradication policies to implement enacted laws and policies and relay community policy requirements upwards for policy formulation and HIV/AIDS Training to the community. I have skills in Braille, Sign Language, Abacus and adapted computer technology which enables me to bridge the gap among persons with various disabilities and to make their issues known.
