About Me:

I am a 40+ year old woman. I am currently a stay at home mom and photographer. I am currently working on personal photography project depicting Postpartum Mood Disorder. It is very exciting and am in the infancy of the project. I also work as a photographer for Open Arms Perinatal Services. I am currently working with them to document what the do, the services they provide and how as an organization they help to empower women by taking their knowledge and education back to their respective communities to educate the women there. Very exciting and am hoping to begin a documentary project depicting this in the Somalian and Native American communities here in Seattle, WA USA.

My Passions:
Photography, specifically documentary.
My Challenges:
funding and resources
My Vision for the Future:
To work with small or grass roots organizations geared towards the empowerment of women.
