Celine

About Me:

My names are Celine Ebere Osukwu. I was born in Ihioma, a village in Orlu Local Government Area in the eastern part of Nigeria during the Nigerian civil war. Some months after birth, I was severely sick. Later (between ages 3-4) I became disabled by kyphosis. In between time, I faced challenges growing up and surviving into adulthood given my disability and being a girl child in a patriarchal culture. I am not daunted, I say NO to discrimination, marginalization, subjugation and a life of I can't do it".

My Passions:
Empowering the Less privileged
My Challenges:
Growing up and surviving in a male dorminated yet "survival of the fittest" culture
My Vision for the Future:
A world where the less privileged are uplifted or transformed
My Areas of Expertise:
Advocacy, Administration, Human Rights
My Languages:
English, Igbo
