RENAPRED’s American Award to the Prevention of Illnesses that Can Cause Birth Disorders and Environmental Barriers that Can Cause Disabilities.
The National Network for Disability Prevention (RENAPRED) in Mexico seeks to strengthen and acknowledge the efforts and contributions from civil society, citizens and researchers, in the American Continent, dealing with prevention of illnesses that can cause birth disorders and environmental barriers that can cause disabilities in the social, academic, communications, medical and other scientific spheres.
Categories and Awards:
1 All organizations, institutions, citizens and researchers, in the American continent, can apply for this award if they have done previous efforts, contributions, field work or research in the following categories:
A Efforts and contributions in the social, academic and communications spheres carried by civil society organizations or citizens, individually or collectively, aiming to prevent illnesses that can cause birth disorders and to promote or strengthen people with disabilities’ rights.
B Field work or research in the medical sphere aimed to prevent illnesses that can cause birth disorders in the American Continent.
Awards will be awarded to the first three places in every category, as follows:
First Place Certificate of Recognition.
Second Place Certificate of Recognition. .
Third Place Certificate of Recognition.
In both categories the first three places will present their works and receive their Certificates of Recognition during the RENAPRED’s Third International Conference. It will take place in Mexico City, from October 22 to 25. Transportation, lodging and meals will be covered for one person per initiative awarded.
