Offer: Call for Proposals: Project Inspire 2013 (Deadline: 30 June 2013)
Project Inspire: 5 Minutes to Change the World invites youth change-makers around the world to submit impactful ideas to empower disadvantaged women and girls in Asia/Pacific, Middle East or Africa with business and livelihood skills to attain a sustained livelihood for a chance to win a US$25,000 grant.
Project Inspire, now in its third year, is co-created and co-organized by the Singapore Committee for UN Women (UN Women Singapore) and MasterCard, supported by academic partner INSEAD. This global initiative presents 18 -35 year olds with a 5-minute platform to pitch their inspired idea to the world and make their idea into a reality.
As we draw closer to the deadline of Millennium Development Goals in 2015, the urgency to raise gender equality is critical, particularly in areas where women are still largely marginalized. It is imperative that we work closely to improve the lives of women by increasing access to education, economic and leadership opportunities. In recent years, more leaders around the world have made the call to the global community for the inclusion of women in all aspects of business to give the economy the boost that it needs.
Project Inspire is a platform where you can play your part. Please visit the Official Website to see how you can participate. Call for proposals will end on 30 June 2013.
