VIOLENCE PROVOKED By the WAR IN DR CONGO

Greetings my friends
This time we are short of words, 3 days ago that the city of Goma has been occupied by the M23 rebels, we do not know how many are dead. We do not know where to go to in this country.
There is a pregnant woman whose left hand was cut off and she was at the verge of giving birth.
When shall we ever have peace!
It’s as if we are no longer human beings, we are becoming animals, animals have more value than us.
How can a man lead animals? Where will help come from? We ask our World Pulse friends to do something, because all we ask for is, peace and only peace.
We have had enough.

Thank you very much my friends and I wish you Success

Dear Mumbalima !

Dear Mumbalima,

Thank you for your testimony. You have shared, so powerfully, the ugly truths of the treatment of women in DRC.

It is grief-striking to know of the pregnant woman whose hand was cut off. Small wonder you are speaking out for peace, peace!

You also express, beautifully and directly, that you feel as though women in Congo are not treated like human beings and that you've have had enough.

Mumbalina, let your knowledge and compassion lead you and keep you strong. The women of DRC deserve respect, compassion and empathy.

Continue to reach out and speak out on behalf of your Congolese sisters, and the world will listen, and take action.

With Love,

Sarah
