INSECURITY PERSISTS IN THE DRC

Permit me again to bring to your notice what is happening in the two provinces of North and South - Kivu.
Today at midday we have just received phone calls from our friends living in North - Kivu, that the Goma airport is now in the hands of the rebels, the soldiers are strolling within the neighborhoods with arms and guns in their hands, and those of us in Bukavu, will be besieged within 48 hours by these very rebels. At the time I write this story, I have fear within me because we always expect that there be the sound of a bullet, for us to escape.
In Bukavu town where I am now, we observe the closure of some provision houses, the movement of well-armed soldiers and police, the population does not know what to do.

Please Know that there is insecurity. Please Know that insecurity persists in our country.
Pray much for us.

Hello Anuarite,

Thanks for bringing this situation to us. Here in other parts of the world we have no idea that our brothers and sisters are suffering in this way. I will pray for you, your family and everyone in the DRC that this violence will end soon.
