I am trained as Cultural Anthropologist. I worked with women and Harijan's ("Untouchables") in India and through working with Native American cultures wrote a book with a female elder in the US Southwest. I also have a background in medical anthropology, diversity studies, and cross-cultural education. I am currently moving into a new phase in applied Development Anthropology with a focus on "creating a new future through empowering women and girls." I am thoroughly excited about reading the Voices of Our Future and learning about how your lives are lived in your worlds.
