About Me:

Hi - I am a midwife orginally from Chicago now living in Patzcuaro, Michoacan, Mexico. I am the Executive Director of Mujeres Aliadas a binational NGO based in human rights. We have several components to the project which include community outreach and education, two low cost women's clinics, birthing cottages and a professional midwifery school. I'm very proud of our work! Check us out www.mujeresaliadas.org.

I am very interested in this project "Voices of Our Future," and welcome any opportunity to be a part of women speaking out.

Thank you,
Brenda Madura
