About Me:
I am excited to have the opportunity to connect with the incredible women that make up World Pulse. I am inspired by the incredible stories shared within this stellar network. The common thread, sown with unfathomable courage, that holds together the diverse pieces in World Pulse's network is empowerment. In the article I am submitting to the call for stories about Standing Up I ask the question: how can we empower, and be empowered, to harmonize our voices and Stand Up for social change? Each time I open my copy of World Pulse I am given new insights into this salient question. Thank you World Pulse for giving us the opportunity to share in the global dialogue !

My passions are peace studies, conflict transformation, yoga and meditation and local sustainable agriculture
My Challenges:
My challenge in life is to create a functioning, societal role for myself where I can actively create space for constructive dialogue.

My vision for the future is one where meaningful, dialogic relationship building allows for reciprocal knowledge sharing.

My areas of expertise include conflict resolution (M.A.), research and documentation (participatory methodologies), negotiation and mediation (certified), organic cooking, writing and photography.
