About Me: 

Feminist Writer, Sociologist, Human Rights Lawyer and Telugu poet. Associated with national women's movements. Working for deepening democracy and Minority rights in India. Working with Women and Child rights issues, domestic violence, environment issues and NRI marriages harassment cases. Trauma care and legal support services for women in distress. RAJIV GANDHI NATIONAL AWARD and STREE SHAKTI PURASKAR from the Government of India. Received awards from Telugu University, AP State Language Commission, Department of Culture for highlighting social issues in poetry. Poetry included in the curriculum of class 10th, MA literature, M. Phil/ PhD research. Students in Germany studying poetry on Globalization. Internationally travel to participate in conferences and to meet Indian Diaspora. Visited USA, Germany, Canada, Australia, Hungary, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore. Participated in United Nations Women's conference. Heading Phoenix Organisation for Woman and Child, a NGO in Hyderabad City, Andhra Pradesh, India. Published first poetry anthology 'aaku raalu kaalam' now working on second book. Poetry included in various anthologies published by the Oxford University Press, Wisconsin University Press, Indian Literature. I write fiction, short stories, articles and poetry. Best known as a feminist poet in Telugu.
