About Me:

I am a mother, student, and activist. My son is 4, and I want him to grow up in a world where men and women respect each other and see each other as equals. I am a student at the University of Washington pursuing concurrent degrees in law and public policy. I direct Bald Solidarity, an NGO that works to promote the rights of women and end life-threatening discrimination against women through fundraising and an annual head-shaving event.

My Passions:
Gender equity, creating opportunity for the world's poor
My Challenges:
Being a good mom. Completing school. Doing my best to contribute to the nonprofit sector.
My Vision for the Future:
An end to extreme global poverty and violent discrimination against women.
My Areas of Expertise:
Public policy, gender inequity, global poverty
