From a very young age, I realized that I was fortunate to have been born white in the United States during the 1960's. My family didn't have much money, but life was pretty easy. Because of that realization, I have always felt a need to work for those who are less fortunate. I am passionate about international issues, and believe that we can change the world simply by helping women in developing countries. If we change their lives, they will change their villages and their countries, and the change will be generational. Dining for Women is an incredible organization which helps women in these developing countries through the support of grassroots organizations.
