About Me:

My name is Katie. I'm a 23 year old journalism student in my final year of study. By all accounts I am fairly ordinary young woman. I love my family, enjoy music, movies and spending time with my friends (AKA the urban family). I also have a penchant for "rescuing" anything kitsch, retro or vintage from op shops.

My biggest ambition is to somehow make a difference in the world. But sometimes I overwhelmed with modern society and the complicated, entangled lives my peers and I seem to live. And sometimes, as a single woman, I feel very alone.

But I believe telling stories, other people's stories and your own, is an amazing way to feel a connection with complete strangers. A good story can make you laugh, cry, believe, dream, warm your heart and feel like you are not alone. Which is why I want to be a journalist and a writer.

So here are some of my stories, and in return I feel very privileged to read yours.

My Passions:
Women's Rights, Feminism,
My Vision for the Future:
Dream big: a world without poverty or oppression
My Areas of Expertise:
Creative writing, Journalism, Media, Editing
My Languages:
English, Danish
