About Me:

2013: I have had an extensive career as a RN & a medical provider as a nurse practitioner in many & diverse clinical settings, including public health working w/ northern California Hmong, Mien & Latino populations & teen-pregnancy prevention. I have also been a print journalist. Currently, I am very interested in helping people who are living where the story is to tell the story -- to be able to expand the reach of their voices.

I am taking on a new archetypal role in society now for myself -- the witness, the speaker, the one who testifies, the documentarian. So, citizen journalism & training professional journalists in under-represented communities are endeavors I really care about -- especially via print & video.

If interested in networking re. stories, video projects or journalism, plse do not hesitate to email me.

2010: This is a great concept & community - i am very happy to join. I am particularly interested in preserving traditional healing wisdom, journalism, training health care workers, women's microlending.

My Passions:
traditional healing wisdom; local spiritual practices
My Challenges:
networking to develop a crew of like-minded video-documentarians
My Vision for the Future:
I'll be happy to start w/ controlling climate change & zero population growth.
My Areas of Expertise:
nursing, medicine, writing & editing American English, digital video, print journalism
