About Me:

I recently transferred to Portland State University for a major in Sociology and Women's, Gender, & Sexualities Studies, with a minor in Queer Studies. My main point of focus is to work with people who have experienced homelessness. I was already very much aware of the high amount of people who experience homelessness before I ever read that 39% of the (documented) population of people who have been homeless are queer. Learning this resonated within me, and so I have chosen to be a person in support of those who experience homelessness, and, for me, this means supporting their health, sustainability, and happiness.

My Passions:
writing flash fiction, human rights, animal rights, environmental rights
My Challenges:
ha! having social anxiety while being in college
My Vision for the Future:
wavering on moving back to Eugene, OR after college to work with one of the organizations there
My Areas of Expertise:
I make excellent mix cd's and vegan food
