Hello,,,,, I am a 36 year old single mother of two beautiful daughters. I was an abusive relationship for nine years, but found the strength to leave. My new life started seven years ago when I left my husband and with my daughters moved into a domestic violence shelter. I look back and realize what an impact living in the shelter had on me. I begin to build my life; however the years of abuse weighed on and sadly i carried the pain of domestic violence for several years. Every i learn more about myself; the healing process is slow, but i take it one day at a time. My daughters have been my inspiration and a major sources of my strength. My journey is a continual search for my own awareness along with finding my place in this world. I want to help others like myself who have witness domestic violence.
