About Me:

My name is Selena and I am student at Portland State University (Oregon), and I majoring in Women's Studies. I am married and have two beautiful children ages 7 and 2 years old. I am looking for human connections, I am looking to open my belief system and re-address incorrect notions, and I am looking for ways in which to become "active." I am looking for hope....

My Passions:
My family, making films, road trips, discovering new cultures and new people, breathing clean fresh air and good food.
My Challenges:
Not enough time, not enough information, feeling overwhelmed, lacking community.
My Vision for the Future:
CHANGE! A switch from a capitalistic perspective to one that includes valuing the planet, her resources, and all inhabitants. Profits do not seem to support human rights.
My Areas of Expertise:
I do not feel like an expert, however I would love to teach and be the teacher in any discussion open to me.
