I am photographer and filmmaker and I was born in Rangamati in the Hill Tracts of Bangladesh. I am mixed race, part Chakma and part Scottish with a bit of Bengali thrown in as well. Much of my work involves working with young people and communities often voiceless and invisible, and enabling them to develop and create their own media, and tell their own stories. My heart is in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and my dream is to see proper empowerment for the women and Indigenous Peoples of the region, as well as Indigenous Peoples the world over. I am always working on a number of different projects and love connecting with people from all over the world.
