The more experience and understanding I get, the more I am convinced that we as women hold the key to the future we dream of and that we can achieve it, by remembering our sisterhood and by activating our inherent strengths and wisdom.

Despite so many differences in our circumstances, we are united by our passion for meaningful communication and authentic relationships; by our commitment to our families, loved ones, and communities, and our world; by our intuition about healing and nutrition -- including our ability to create delicious meals and beautiful spaces, sometimes with the most meager ingredients; and our urge to grow and become -- more unified, more in touch with Essence, more centered in ourselves and our relationships.

Together I want to create the path to the end of suffering and oppression -- I believe when we move past the fears and isolation -- with our mutual support and growing strength and wisdom -- we may bequeath our children a brave new world.
