About Me:

I have just returned from working in youth development in the Peace Corps in Guatemala. I am passionate about women's rights, education, and access to services and health care. They are the leaders in the home and the foundation of a country's development. Having recently read "Half the Sky", I am further inspired to dedicate my time and energy into women's issues and advocating for more programs and education all over the world. I hope to learn more and connect with organizations that I can volunteer for and ideally, work for both domestically and abroad. There are times I feel the world is heading in a downward spiral and the only hope we have of improving relations between countries and relgions and ending poverty is through women's development.

My Passions:
reproductive health, girls education
My Challenges:
lack of education on successful programs
My Languages:
English, Spanish
