I am a young female who is passionate about gender equity in many respects. From a observers point of view women have been excluded from too many important matter relating to development of this world. I believe that as an aspiring leader, I have the ability to assist in transforming the lives of other young women to aid in transforming to world to be a better place.

Hi everyone, my name is Cordia, I am 26 years old and currently pursuing a Masters degree in Gender and Development Studies at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. I love development, especially when it entails female empowerment, in that light I am currently the Project Manager for a large socio-economic development project in Kingston, Jamaica.

I am passionate about education, I think it is the true key to success, the mind is a powerful gift from God and with it all things are possible. I love children, without a doubt, they are the future, whether one likes it or not.

I enjoy food, because it is the staff of life; and I love to be happy because it keeps me contented and makes those around me happy.
