Beejay
I am a social worker by profession, an activist by vocation and a trainer by inclination.
I have over ten years of experience in gender development and the citizen sector in Nigeria and hold degrees in English Language and Communication Arts. I am the Programme Manager of the Women’s Optimum Development Foundation (WODEF) based in Lagos, Nigeria.
WODEF has been utilizing all forms of media/creative options as tools for specific information dissemination to highlight, create awareness & promote change about women issues. While working with WODEF, I have researched and developed resource materials and tools to support the organization’s advocacy work on governance, domestic violence, gender equality, women’s reproductive health and rights and education of girls.
