Living in a province of a country (The Philippines) composed of more than 7000 islands is very rewarding. I have the opportunity to see life in its many faces - the lifestyles of the rich and famous, and the realities of living by the poor and less fortunate. These have been great eye openers which tell me that I and my family are blessed!

Looking back, I am happy to see my three children grow up - a son who is married, a daughter gainfully employed, and a daughter finishing her university education. I am happy to have a very supportive husband who continues to hear what I think, appreciates what I do, and provides a hand whenever needed.

My work experiences - both in the field and at the office desks have honed my skills in information, communication, education, and advocacy which have helped me in doing community service.

Helping empower rural women and seeing them transformed into productive and respected individuals is starting to become a passion.
