Dave Alexander
At present, I am between lives for the second time. For a decade after college, I was a successful engineer. I am no longer he. For the next two decades, I was awakening from the slumber of the human condition. I was increasingly serving the Divine by helping others in a variety of ways -- father, husband, life coach, leadership coach, mentor, support group facilitator, student intern coordinator, mentoring program coordinator, science and math educator, classroom volunteer, database designer, computer technician, and secretary. I am no longer that fellow nor quite my next life expression either.
The building blocks of the next Dave are my core values, my beliefs, and a wide range of skills acquired from life so far. My core values are love, spirituality, integrity, simplicity, art, empathy, contribution, community, courage, seeking, and thoughtfulness. I believe that the world as we know it is about to undergo a massive change. I am glad for this because there is much suffering in our present world. At the same time, however, I am concerned about the transition because it will be difficult for many. I believe that those with resilient minds, open hearts, a personal relationship with Spirit, and an enthusiasm for embracing the rebirth of feminine power will adapt more gracefully.
This is why I am excited to be a member of PulseWire. It is freeing the feminine spirit through the words, experiences, and knowledge of women. I believe that it is essential that this occur as quickly and healthfully as possible because there is an urgent need to restore female/male balance to human consciousness. There is much historical momentum to overcome, from each gender. If we fail at this, I believe that great harm will come to all life on our beautiful planet.
On many days it is difficult for me to see how an introverted, white, middle-class, male American could hope to support or help anyone with the courage, resilience, and wisdom shared in the pages of WorldPulse. But that is limited thinking that, if listened to by me, denies the good I have already done and stops the potential for what I might do. At an absolute minimum, I believe in the power of the feminine spirit that we each have within us and one additional believer can tip the scales. At most... well let's see where this can go!
