Fatima Zafar
I am a professional having three years of experience in development sector with local, national and international organizations. At the moment I am Monitoring & Evaluation Officer at Islamic Relief Pakistan. I also worked as a Programme Officer PRAP (Policy, Research & Advocacy Programme). My responsibilities include proposal writing, planning and implementation, documentation of reports, data collection for the purpose of research and/or survey, coordination and communication with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Peoples Awareness & Rights Committee Networks (PARCs).
Amongst other, I have worked on identification of different gender related violence issues and have taken lead in creating awareness in the society via PARC networks about human rights. I have also enable/facilitated PARC members to take initiative in order to resolve gender based issues in their respective communities. I also coordinated the Global Call to Action against Poverty, the United Nations Millennium Campaign focusing on MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) in Pakistan. Finally I have also taken lead for other Media Campaigns and preparation of the Information, Education and Communication material.
I have also served as Project Officer GCAP-Pakistan National Secretariat and have worked as a Rapporteur GCAP-Pakistan National Steering Committee.
