I am a 31 year old female of Fijian and Papua New Guinean (PNG)parentage currently visiting China, although I call PNG home as it is where I grew up and the place that has helped me form many of my opinions both personal and of the wider scope.
Having married a man who has taken me to some great places in the world, my perception of many things has increased ten-fold. And with each new place that I visit and more wonderful people that I meet, I will continue to put things into perspective and be better for it.
I believe in free speech, gender equality and justice. I believe in fairness and kindness and I believe that I can make myself a much more better person by being part of this group.
PS: In the words of Winston Churchill: Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak, courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.
