I have committed my resources, emotional and material to the formation of www.globalshelterproject.org.
After presenting a concept of how technology could affect rapid construction of sustainable shelter to a supportive team of respected scientist at the University of Akron Polymer Science Engineering School my life took a turn that aligned me with the many others working towards providing systems addressing the basic needs of those most in need.
I am humbled and inspired by the actions, fears and doubts of others, and their brave push forward, that are concerned and taking action to address these issues on local and international levels. I had a chance encounter with Ms Zainab on the beaches of Costa Rica and her focus, passion and intelligence were instantly evident and comforting as any that have met her would attest.
She walks her talk and in her footsteps are the mended lives of generations yet to be born.
