Max Dashu (female!)

About Me:

I'm a woman (in spite of name Max), researcher in global women's history and cultures, especially female shamans, priestesses, healers and elders, and in their leadership in resisting oppression. See where there are many articles. I'm also an artist and a lover of children, wilderness, and music.

My Passions:
Justice for women and therefore everyone; art, music, dance, Qigong, walking on the land.
My Challenges:
Earning a living, supporting my project without funds, health issues
My Areas of Expertise:
women's history, globally and including indigenous women; images of women in ancient art; goddess traditions, witches and witch hunts
My Languages:
English, Spanish, French, Russian
