Max Dashu (female!)

About Me:

I'm a woman (in spite of name Max), researcher in global women's history and cultures, especially female shamans, priestesses, healers and elders, and in their leadership in resisting oppression. See http://www.suppressedhisstories.net where there are many articles. I'm also an artist and a lover of children, wilderness, and music.

My Passions:
Justice for women and therefore everyone; art, music, dance, Qigong, walking on the land.
My Challenges:
Earning a living, supporting my project without funds, health issues
My Areas of Expertise:
women's history, globally and including indigenous women; images of women in ancient art; goddess traditions, witches and witch hunts
My Languages:
