Iam Asmau Benzies -Leo,the Executive Director of Centre for Nonviolence and Gender Advocacy in Nigeria (CENGAIN).The founder and initiator of CENGAIN. I hold a bachelors degree of science in Sociololy,a postgraduate diploma in Conflict Management and Peace Studies and currently running a masters programme still in Conflict and peace studies.Iam one of the upcoming women's rights activist in Nigeria.Our organisation is involved in alot of advocacy work. Our activities vary from human rights, focusing on Women and Children’s Rights, Active-Nonviolence, Gender equality,Peace Education and Conflict Resolution.
CENGAIN works towards creating a society that honors the dignity and worth of the human person with the believe that every single individual has the capacity to move the world in the direction of peace through their daily nonviolent choice and actions.
