I am an artist and poet inspired by the experiences that I have encountered in this journey of life. As much as I love to paint I could not resist the edge to write, for me poetry is creativity at its best. My life has a story to tell and because I am born a woman I even have a greater purpose. I know my life has so much to pour out in a way that only a woman can. I believe the plight of women in our generation lies in our hands. We have the privilege to be the change we want to see. I was raised in a community that gave no credit to a woman's mind but rather acknowledged her beauty and strength to have children and make a home. Now I have seen that we can enjoy both and even more. I know that the beauties of our faces are matching our hearts and the strength of our femininity can influence our communities in a better way. I seek to be a woman that dares to use her heart and head to make a difference; with a wholesome original beauty of our purpose. Being feminine is graceful and full of power. That's just me.
