I am a 33 year old writer and artist, who grew up on a farm and vineyard in northern California. For many years I was a sort of voluntary nomad--traveling as much as I could, feeling lost, but needing to hear voices from a culture other than my own. I am drawn to places where story is important, where people know their stories and like to tell them. I am particularly interested in the mythology and beauty of everyday life: what stories are hidden in the places and objects we sometimes take for granted? Who are the people who have wisdom to share? I think it's incredibly important to communicate and correspond with people I don't know, like all the penpals I had when I was young, and that is why I feel WordPulse is such a vital, important endeavor. I am excited to learn from all of you here.
