Felix Masi
Felix Masi is a Kenyan-born American independent Multimedia photojournalist/filmmaker, founder of Voiceless Children, and former staff photojournalist with The Standard Group. Currently based in Washington DC, Masi works with international non-profits documenting humanitarian work and development, mainly in Africa. Most recently, Felix has worked in Kenya, South Africa, and Angola, though his work has taken him to Uganda, Ethiopia, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, and Tanzania, among others. Masi participated in the Save and Protect the Planet project produced in Portugal, Switzerland, and New York. He also worked on a 2010 World Cup project in South Africa with World Press Photo Foundation. He has produced an award winning short film called “Hands of Love” through support from Adobe Youth Voices and Listen Up! He covered a White House African Youth Summit participant for Interface Media Group (IMG), and he was the coordinator, advisor and photographer of award-winning film “A Grandmother’s Tribe” shot in Kenya.
