Alongside Cate Haight, I co-founded Action Kivu, a U.S. 501c3 that works to raise runds and awareness for a local non-profit in eastern Congo, empowering and educating women and children through education assistance, sewing workshops, a shared farm, a microloan program and more! I'm a traveler with a nomadic spirit who has somehow settled into life in Los Angeles. Formerly a slave to the film industry, I'm a writer who has worked online at the L.A. Times and on independent documentary films in Kosovo and Ethiopia. Day by day I'm waking to the realities of women around the world, and want to be a part of sharing the untold stories, the unheard voices that the world needs to hear. Stories that I need to hear. Trying to pay attention to the present moment, live more and more in community, and step in line with where the universe is conspiring.
