About Me:

I am a south Indian, but now currently studying in Asian University for Women, chittagong, Bangladesh. I have a very nuclear family with a mom, a dad and an elder sister. I want to explore the world in search of knowledge in different fields. I was born, educated upto my high school in a small town in Tamil Nadu. Since from my childhood, I wished to have my own decisions made. I wish to be independent in my life and make my own decisions. That is one reason for being in Bangladesh for my studies. I got full scholarship untill I finish my masters. I am very much interested in Computer science and reading about the alternatives or the solution for the global issues. In the summer vacation of 2010 from May to August, I am working as an AUW's intern in the innovative Student Technology Experience Program with the student from Doha and Pittsburgh in Carnegie Mellon University. We worked on two different technological projects which help the developing communities to improve in their under privileged conditions. We are mainly working as a cultural mediators between the iSTEP team and the partners AUW, and YPSA NGO (Youth Power in Social Action). We got to know the various parts of how a project will be implemented in a developing community like Chittagong, Bangladesh.
