I was born in the U.S.A to immigrant parents from Brasil and Mexico. My house was filled with three different languages, foods, and cultures at all times. By visiting my family across borders i came face to face with extreme poverty and corruption. I opened my eyes at a very young age to the world around me and they've never closed. I want to build bridges with people from different countries, with different stories, and different voices all brought here by one goal: to be heard. As much as i have to offer i've learned that i also have a lot to learn from people. I always want to be an architect of peace, knowledge, and understanding.
"I don't believe in charity. I believe in solidarity. Charity is so vertical. It goes from the top to the bottom. Solidarity is horizontal. It respects the other person. I have a lot to learn from other people."-Eduardo Galeano
