I am a 44-year-old woman living in a small town in the United States. I enjoy spending quality time with my loving family and friends. I especially like hiking, dancing, having company for dinner, and hosting elaborate parties when I have the opportunity (a trait I definitely acquired from my mother). I love animals, especially dogs and enjoy live theater more than movies.

I am a student who will be attending graduate school at Oregon State University beginning Sept 2008. My areas of study will include cultural anthropology, ethnic studies, and communication. I envision and support world equality, but am currently focusing on Latin American Studies and learning Spanish. My goal is to obtain a Ph.D. in sociocultural anthropology with a focus on activist and applied approaches to promote social change.
