About Me:

I am a 60 year old woman from Canada who is fortunate to have so many young, idealistic girls and women in Tanzania who are my friends. This is the result of a chance trip I made to Tanzania to go on safari in 1998. I thought it was a "once in a lifetime trip" but seeds were planted and I was continually drawn to return to two small villages in the north - Longido and Kimokouwa. So many girls asking for educational sponsorship and women requesting micro-finance loans resulted in my co-founding an NGO named Project TEMBO in 2004. My life has never been richer or held such meaning.

My Passions:
Photography, writing.
My Challenges:
There is not enough time in a day to accomplish my goals.
My Vision for the Future:
To have a fully sustainable project for girls and women in rural Northern Tanzania by 2020.
My Areas of Expertise:
I am creative, I love challenges, I love to inspire others to dream about possibilities and find ways to realize them.
