About Me:

have taught ESL and literacy for 50 years. S I have met kids from all over the world- Somalia, Ethiopia Sudan, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Congo, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala and many others. For this reason I am devoted to issues relating to the Global South- food security, clean water, land rights, social justice. I have come to believe that all these depend upon Women's Rights. I also believe the patriarchal capitalist values of the West are primarily responsible for causing the problems faced by the Global South. And the U,S. needs to stop its wars.

My Passions:
Food justice, water, Women's and childrens rights, mother nature
My Challenges:
kind of old
My Vision for the Future:
everybody gets enough good food, and clean water and acccess to education in a world at peace
My Areas of Expertise:
teaching
My Languages:
English, spanish, french
