About Me:

Merry meet!
I am a lecturer working in the sociology department at the local university in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. I am also working on research - specifically focussing on the "stories" of migrant women; their constructions of identity and the changes therein as they recall their journey.
I am passionate about learning and imparting knowledge to others; about nature and the environment; about empowerment; about being "real" in the world and of course, passionate about my family.
My challenges: wanting to do so much, be so much and then feeling overwhelmed (that I can't)...
I want to do so much with this one "wild" life of mine, and look forward to meeting many of you!

My Languages:
English, afrikaans
