I have been a journalist for a dozen years, and will likely be for another. My passion is for investigative reporting but my staple news beats have been everything from crime to Latino affairs, and the smattering in between. Since age 18 I have been involved in philanthropic efforts in one form or another, from building homes in Mexico to furthering the efforts of impoverished women in Uganda. The most significant thing both professional and person experiences have taught me is that nothing is impossible.
